Research Officer
The National Gallery is looking to hire a Research Officer. You’ll will work closely with the Research Manager, producing research for Development’s corporate sponsorship and fundraising teams. The post-holder will have responsibility for producing individual, corporate and trust profiles, event briefing notes, industry updates, and helping to carry out risk assessments for prospective supporters and sponsors.The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, a good understanding of the philanthropic landscape and cultural sponsorship sector, a collaborative attitude and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
To provide support for the Research Manager on prospect identification, analysis and management, maximising the fundraising potential of the Development Department
This role will work strategically and creatively across a range of concurrent fundraising projects, ensuring staff are well briefed on prospects, compiling event briefing notes, identifying longlist prospects for fundraiser consideration, and assessing specific prospects for development potential
You will attend to project work that furthers the department's fundraising administration, and work with the Operations team to ensure information is processed and stored in a GDPR compliant, accessible way
