eCommerce Assistant

Penguin is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic E-Commerce Assistant to join their Digital Planning team, which plays a crucial part in our wider Brand division at Penguin. As a key player in managing our iconic Penguin Shop, you'll support our E-Commerce Manager and collaborate with the wider team to ensure the seamless operation of our online store.

 Please note this is a part-time 9-month fixed-term contract, working 2-days p/week.

 Main responsibilities:

  • Manage customer communication over email, replying to enquiries and solving problems, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive impression.

  • Assist with customer orders, including processing replacements and returns, making sure our customers are always satisfied.

  • Liaise with our fulfilment partner on dispatch and delivery of orders, ensuring a timely and efficient service.

  • Coordinate changes to products and inventory in Shopify and our fulfilment portal, keeping our online store fresh and up-to-date.

  • Process invoices with precision and attention to detail, maintaining smooth financial operations.

  • When required, support the E-Commerce Manager with reporting and strategic projects related to the online store, contributing to the growth and success of Penguin Shop.
