Culture Producer

The British Library is hiring a Culture Producer to develop, manage, and deliver exhibitions, projects, and events for its regional programme. Supporting the Lead Culture Producer, you'll join the Public Engagement team in Leeds.

Main Responsibilities

• To project manage the development and delivery of specific exhibitions, installations and displays for the Library in West Yorkshire.Be responsible for the co-development of specific projects with partner organisations including working on partnership development and enhancement.

• To manage and co-ordinate documentation and processes for specific projects including planning, scheduling, contracting, commissioning, purchasing, interpretation, design, and project installation/de-installation as required.

• To manage project specific budgets and undertake financial and procurement processes in accordance with Library procedures.

• Work with the Lead Culture Producer, British Library colleagues and partner organisations on the conceptual and practical development of projects.

• To ensure all aspects of interpretation and accessibility of exhibitions are undertaken to a high standard.

• Manage and deliver specific British Library Public Engagement North events, including exhibition launch events, public programme and partnership events, as required.
